African Patterns

Formation, structure, colour, repetition are the elements I started to notice when looking at these patterns, I also saw the different motifs that were being used regularly in the African patterns. Certain motifs which are used in certain cultures have a meaning the shape and form represent something for an instance the meanings of the patterned paintings differ among cultures. Geometric patterns can symbolize weddings, births, or other celebrations in the African Culture.
